Why a CMA?

YOU can easily keep your site up to date.  That means that you can make changes, upload photos, PDFs, Documents, whatever you want available on your site, right through a web browser.  It also means that if you want to put a note on your home page about holiday hours, you can do it right when you think about it and not have to call us to do it (although, if you would rather have us do it, we’re more than happy to.)

Why a template?

Maybe you’re not looking to spend the money for a fully custom designed site yet.  Or maybe you want to test the waters a little bit.  Or maybe, we’ve just got the right template for you.  There are tons of reasons.  Basically if you want a custom designed site with loads of options, check us out at StandingStone Media, otherwise this is for you!

Do I need a logo?

Nope.  If you don’t have one, we can create one for you that you can then use on everything.  From signage to business cards, we can help you!

Does this include email?

Yup.  As many as you want.

Do I need any special software on my computer?

Nope.  Just a web browser.  We recommend Firefox or Safari, but you’re more than welcome to use Internet Explorer as well.

Is there a limit to how much content I can put in my site?

You can write to your heart’s content.  That’s the great thing about a content management system – you can add as much content as you want to these sites.  We’ll help you out with the first 5 pages and from there, you can add as many as you like.

What does hosting cost?

For the first year it’s included.  After that it’s $24 per month which ensures speedy page loads and prompt personal service.

Do I need a domain name?

Yes, you’ll need a domain name first.  You can search for one at GoDaddy.com and either let us know what you want or you can order it yourself.  We recommend that you own the domain name rather than us.  It’s yours, it should be yours.

Of course, if you’ve already got a domain name, we can switch it for you as well.
